Stay

Qualia offers guests the indulgent choice of one-bedroom Windward or Leeward pavilions, each with breathtaking views which blend harmoniously with the rare, natural beauty of the island and provide an indulgent space to relax and unwind. Or, there is the uncompromising luxury and privacy of the one and only two-bedroom Beach House, with its own guest quarters, private lap pool and inspiring views.

Windward Pavilion

The north-facing Windward Pavilions offer expansive, postcard views of the Coral Sea and Whitsundays. The beautifully appointed pavilions feature a living room, separate bedroom with a king bed or twin on request, ensuite and offer the added indulgence of a private plunge pool.

Leeward Pavilion

The south west-facing Leeward Pavilions offer you a serene outlook of both the Island and the Coral Sea. They boast a private sundeck, which is the perfect place to capture the warmth of the sun during the day and amazing sunsets at dusk.

Beach House

For something truly special, experience the Beach House at Qualia for the ultimate secluded hideaway. With a main bedroom and ensuite, spacious entertaining area featuring a large flat-screen TV with surround sound, a 10-person dining room, a private full-sized swimming pool, as well as a separate guesthouse, the Beach House is an indulgence like no other.

Sail the Whitsunday Islands: Qualia guests are invited to secure the services of a yacht and cruise the Whitsundays, unwind on the pristine sands of Whitehaven Beach, or take a bird’s eye view on a private, scenic helicopter flight from qualia’s own helipad.

For those with an adventurous spirit, the Great Barrier Reef is the perfect place to make some unexpected discoveries. Head off on a diving or snorkeling adventure, or marvel at the wondrous diversity of underwater life on a reef tour. There are also all manner of water sports to pursue.

Hamilton Island also boasts over 20km of bushwalking trails and guests are able to interact with many of Australia’s unique wildlife at the Koala Wildlife Experience Gallery on the island.

Hamilton Island Golf Club: Qualia guests are invited tee off at the Hamilton Island Golf Club – the only golf course on its own island in Australia, offering some of the most spectacular views of any course in the world. The 18-hole Peter Thomson-designed championship course located on neighbouring Dent Island, includes a practice aquatic driving range, putting and chipping greens, golf tuition, pro shop and a stunning Clubhouse, offering fine food and wine with amazing views.

Food and Wine

Qualia's two exclusive restaurants provide the ideal stage upon which the Executive Chef delivers exceptional culinary talents to inspire your palate. Guests have the choice of fine dining at the Long Pavilion, or a more relaxed and casual experience at Pebble Beach.

Both offer their own unique tasting experience with the freshest and finest cuisine. Alternatively, guests may retreat to their pavilion and order in-room platters, or discover other dining venues on the Island in their personal golf buggy.

Long Pavilion

With its expansive views of the Coral Sea and serene atmosphere, the Long Pavilion is ideally suited for breezy breakfasts. In the afternoon, it transforms into a space where you’re invited to enjoy cocktails, and then fine dining in the evening, offering an indulgent menu and an accompanying wine cellar selection.

Pebble Beach

The informal Pebble Beach restaurant is located by the water’s edge. The Executive Chef’s passion for fresh and seasonal Australian produce is reflected in the menu, providing contemporary Australian casual lunching at its best. Then relax into the afternoon on the sun-drenched terrace at the beachside cocktail bar.
